In addition to midfielder Alex Mowatt, new contracts have been extended to defenders Kyle Bartley and Cedric Kipré.
Along with fellow young players Reyes Cleary, Fenton Heard, Ethan Ingram, Evan Humphries, Archie Kirton, Deago Nelson, and Adriel Walker, goalkeeper Ted Cann, an academy graduate, has also received an offer for a new contract.
The team has also exercised options to extend the contracts of Josh Shaw and Reece Hall, two defenders, and forward Layton Love.

Matty Phillips will be leaving The Hawthorns after eight years and 255 appearances. The 33-year-old scored 31 goals in the Premier League, Sky Bet Championship, Emirates FA Cup, and Carabao Cup after joining the Baggies in July 2016 from QPR.
The adaptable winger, who appeared in 39 games and scored seven goals, was crucial to Albion’s promotion from the second division to the top flight in 2019–20.
For Carlos Corberán’s team in the Championship in 2023–2024, Phillips made 26 appearances and scored three goals. His final goal came in a 3-1 victory over Hull City at The Hawthorns in the beginning of November.
