Dallas falls in the most recent Power Rankings; is Dak getting ready to go?
Although America’s Team supporters were given a preview of the Dallas Cowboys 2024–25 regular season schedule on Monday afternoon, it is scheduled to be released in around twenty-four hours.
The Cowboys’ season opener was confirmed, but we still have to wait for the whole 17-game schedule to be announced on Wednesday night.
Dallas will travel to Cleveland to play the Browns in the season’s opening game on FOX. Plus, it will be Tom Brady’s first game as a broadcaster. First-round selection Tyler Guyton will also face a difficult challenge straight away as he tries to contain Myles Garrett, the current defensive player of the year.
Although the season is long, Week One should tell everyone what to expect from the Cowboys in 2024–25 and how they stack up against another playoff club from the previous season.
As everyone gets excited about the schedule announcement, let’s examine the other stories that are affecting Cowboys Nation this week.
Is Dak Nearing Exit ?
By delaying his re-signing, the Cowboys gave Dak Prescott the opportunity to start this season in a contract year. And it appears that might have been a grave error.
Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions reached a four-year, $212 million contract on Monday, with a $170 million guarantee.
If the Cowboys didn’t make a deep playoff run, there was already a decent chance Prescott would be in his last season in Dallas, and this practically ensures it.
The Jones Family will need to choose the path they want to take the franchise in when Dak’s price increased.
